Q: How is my rate determined?
A: Your rate is determined by the type of service you need and how long it takes. Pet visits
and walks have set time frames of 15 minutes and 30 minutes (you can of course choose to
book a double visit if you need it!) while errands and deliveries are $15 per half hour of
time.
Q: When do you start the clock on my errand or job?
A: The visit starts upon the arrival of your walker/sitter.
Q. Can I schedule ahead of time?
A. You are strongly encouraged to schedule as far in advance as possible. Post-COVID many people are traveling and the schedule fills up quickly. In addition, the holidays often fill up months in advance so it's never too early to book.
Q. Can I text or call you for an errand without scheduling it ahead of time?
A. Absolutely - requests made within 24 hours are subject to a $15 "impromptu" fee if accepted, and are accepted based on availability.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Unfortunately not. Cash, check, Venmo and Paypal are the current payment options.
Q: Do you do overnight stays in a clients home?
A: We're sorry, but at this time, Fresh Start does not do overnight stays, only visits.
Q. What towns do you service?
A. At this time, we service Dennis, Harwich, Yarmouth only.
Q: Can you pick up or drop off my pet to/from the vet or daycare?
A: Yes! The vet or daycare must be local. Pets must be able to be safely transported - cats in carriers and dogs will be transported using either their carrier or "doggie seat belt."
Q: What is the best way to contact you?
A: Text message is preferred, but you can also email [email protected] or call. Note that we are closed on Sundays and texts, emails, and calls will be returned Mondays.
